Education
Jessica Murfin holds a Master of Arts in Positive Organizational Psychology and Evaluation from Claremont Graduate University and a Master of Science in Creative Studies, with an emphasis in Organizational Creativity, from Buffalo State College, SUNY. She has earned a Graduate Certificate in Creativity and Change Leadership from Buffalo State College, SUNY, and will be completing a graduate certificate in college teaching through the Preparing Future Faculty program from Claremont Graduate University this summer. Her previous education includes a B.A. in Psychology from Western Oregon University and a B.A. in Theatre and Dance from Chapman University. As an instructor in Western Oregon University's Behavioral Sciences Division, Ms. Murfin teaches general psychology, psychology of creativity, and positive psychology. She is also teaching several undergraduate courses in organizational leadership, as well as a graduate-level course entitled "Leading for Creativity and Innovation" for WOU's new Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership. Her work experience includes The Walt Disney Company and American Girl, a subsidiary of Mattel.
