Research areas
Investigate intergenerational transfers among grandparents, older parents, and adult children. Current intergenerational research has focused on individuals and families who experience genocide, poverty, poor health due to Type 2 diabetes, and end-of-life concerns.

Current research
As a family gerontologist, I investigate intergenerational transmissions among grandparents, older parents, and adult children. My current intergenerational research has focused on individuals and families who experience genocide, poverty, or the death of an older family member. Her special interest is in facilitating community education on topics that are of importance to older adults and their families.
