SEIU

Low-Cost College – In partnership with SEIU, Western Oregon University is offering SEIU Local 503 members discounted tuition for up to 12 credits per term. Over 200 programs of study, available in a variety of delivery modalities are offered each term. In person, hybrid and online classes are available from our Monmouth campus with a growing number of courses available in the evening at our Salem campus in a hybrid, once weekly format.   • Open to eligible SEIU Local 503 members
  • Entrance exams are not required (e.g., SAT/ACT or GMAT/GRE)
  • Receive a 20% discount on undergraduate and graduate tuition, up to 12 credits per term*
  • Financial aid eligible students may receive additional funds/assistance to help offset the cost of tuition

*Please note, only one discount can be applied per term. If you are eligible for more than one tuition discount, the higher discount will be applied.

Get Started

1Apply for admission to WOU: Complete our regular admissions process. WOU has rolling admissions and no application deadline, so apply for the term that works best for you! Be sure to start this process as early as possible so you can start the term of your choice!
Already a WOU student? Go straight to Step 2!

2Download and complete the WOU-SEIU form and have your SEIU representative sign it to confirm membership and eligibility each term. Please include your student ID number. Have your SEIU representative email the completed form to businessoffice@wou.edu at least two weeks prior to the start of the term.

3Speak to an admissions counselor: Find your dedicated admissions counselor by region and make an appointment today! WOU’s Financial Aid Navigator can be found here as well to guide you every step of the way.

4Receive additional financial aid support, if needed: Reach out to financial aid for any questions about federal, state, and institutional funds you might be eligible for. We’re here to help you navigate the process!
