Local Wineries

The Willamette Valley is known as the Pacific Northwest’s premier wine-producing area. In fact, in 2016 it was honored by Wine Enthusiast magazine with the Wine Region of the Year Award. There are hundreds of award-winning vintages created within a few miles of Western Oregon University, and there’s no better place to start exploring than with the wineries in Monmouth, Rickreall and Dallas. Some of them are even operated by WOU alums! We recommend you call before visiting to check tasting hours and availability.
