Learn more about how to register to vote in Oregon by visiting the Oregon Secretary of State Voting & Elections website. Last day to register to vote: Tuesday, October 15th, 11:59 p.m.
Ballots
When will you receive the Ballot?
You will receive your ballot – Ballots “drop” (are mailed by county election offices) starting October 16th, 2024, and should arrive around the 18th.
Haven't received your Ballot?
Contact the county office if ballot is not received (see “My Vote” link).
When to Vote
Completing the Ballot
Be sure to follow all instructions (what type of pen to use, how to return, signature on the outside of the envelope, etc.).
Returning the Ballot
Mail the ballot by Election Day, Tuesday, November 5th (no stamp needed, postmarked by November 5th) or put it into an official ballot box by 8:00 p.m. on November 5th (see “My Vote” link for where to find ballot boxes).

Research
To the best of your abilties research candidates (their websites, who endorses them, etc.) and the measures (websites and Voters Guide). Be smart and do your own research as mis/disinformation can be used to mislead voters.
After Voting is Completed
Track your Ballot
Visit the county website, and use the “My Vote” link to sign up with information that will be with your ballot.
Voter Signature
If the signature is not correct, the election office will contact you to verify (see #4 Track your Ballot to see if accepted).

- Update your voter registration.
- Check the status of your ballot.
- Find contact information for your county elections office.
- Find contact information for your elected officials.
- Find a ballot drop site.
