Anthropology (Phasing out)
Do you have a general curiosity about people and cultures around the world? How about an eye for detail and a certain global awareness? If so, Anthropology might be the major for you. At WOU, you will develop a long-range perspective on human history and the relationship between race and culture as well as a broad view of humanity and cultural diversity. Explore classes in subfields such as cultural anthropology, archaeology, biological anthropology and linguistic anthropology.

Anthropology minor
The anthropology minor may be designed to complement your major or to contrast with it. Strengthen an area of interest, such as archaeology, or explore new horizons in anthropology such as forensic osteology or visual anthropology. You’ll end up equipped with a better understanding of human behavior and cultural differences.
