I hope that this page can give you some tips and ideas to improve accessibility at WOU
Top three tips to start:
- First thing I would encourage you to do is make the ODS website one of your quick links so it’s always available for you to use.
- Include a clear syllabus statement about ODS in order to most successfully work with students with disabilities. Examples can be found at the Faculty page on the ODS website
- Know your campus resources. ODS isn’t the only recourse on campus for students with disabilities. Consider referring students you are working with to other resources on campus including: Student Enrichment Program, Writing Center, Student Health & Counseling Center and the Academic Advising & Learning Center.
