Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) Summit Week

Western Oregon University is an emerging Hispanic Serving Institution. We held an HSI Summit Week, April 22 – April 26, where we learned and celebrated what Serving meant to our direct and greater community.

Here are some of the events that were covered during HSI Week:

  • Table Day: What does it mean to be a Hispanic Serving Institution?
  • Talk about it Tuesday Presentation with Nicole Leon, Director, Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber
  • Table Day: What does servingness mean to you and our community?
  • Presentation on Latino/a/e History of Oregon
