MONMOUTH, Ore. –The Western Oregon University Alumni Board is thrilled to announce the inaugural block party, set to take place on Saturday, May 17. This event is open to all alumni, students, faculty, staff, community members, and friends.
“We’re so excited to throw WOU’s first-ever block party. It’s going to be an awesome day to celebrate all things WOU with alumni, students, and our amazing local community,” shared Raeann Salchenberg, director of alumni engagement. “Come hang out with us. There’ll be something for everyone, and we can’t wait to party with the pack!”
The block party will feature various activities, including live music from the Ra Khan Band, known for their island reggae sound. Attendees can enjoy food carts, a beer garden, and yard games. Additional activities include a photo booth, campus tours, ghost tours, and the popular “Paint the Wolf” activity. There will also be vendors showcasing handmade goods, local crafts, and much more.
