Application Requirements:

● Bachelor’s Degree or pending bachelor’s degree completion before first term of admission

● Cumulative GPA 3.00 or higher (or passing GRE)

○ Undergraduate GPA 2.5 to 2.99: students can be conditionally admitted for the first 9 credit hours

○ Students with <3.0 can be fully admitted with passing MAT/GRE scores

○ GPA requirement is waived if student holds a master’s degree

● Transcripts

○ Unofficial for application process

○ Official must be submitted prior to full admission

● $60 fee for processing

 

M.S. Rehabilitation Counseling

● About the Program

○ Certified by the Council on Accreditation of Counseling & Related Education Programs (CACREP)

○ The Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling program offers a M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling with a mental health counseling concentration

○ Graduates are eligible to seek Oregon licensure as a licensed professional counselor in mental health settings

○ On-campus classes in the evenings at the WOU Salem Campus

○ You can begin the program in Fall term 

○ Time to complete the program:

– Full-time: 2 years

– Part-time: 2.5-3 years

Doctorate of Occupational Therapy

● About the Program

○ The first public doctoral-level occupational therapy (OT) program in Oregon

○ At the WOU Center for Graduate Studies in Salem

○ Has achieved Candidacy Status by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)

○ The program is designed to prepare students to balance the art and science of OT practice as entry-level therapists
