Earlier this month, WOU Choir hosted its Choir Festival. It is a non-competitive festival open to high school and middle school choirs, with 13 groups participating with over 400+ students singing.

It allows choirs to share what they’re working on while getting practice for choir ...festivals that occur later in the year. It also allows choirs to hear and be inspired by other groups. Our clinicians were Steve Peter, Kendra Taylor, Melissa Brunkan.

Meet Olena Rumbaugh! ❤️🐺

Olena is a post-bac student majoring in Public Health who chose WOU for its small classes and big community.

You can find Olena all over campus, as a Campus Ambassador, a sister in AXO sorority, helping others as an Academic Tutor, or even on the ...court as an intramural volleyball player!

One of her favorite moments at WOU so far would have to be spontaneously taking on the slip-in-slide at Groove in the Grove in jeans with her friends.

After graduation, Olena plans to continue her education and attend doctoral school for Physical Therapy.

Catch Olena on our stories today for her student takeover!
