Introduction to Business Internships

Business Internships

Business Internships earn BA409 credit. A qualifying internship must be business related. Business related internships would include internships that include elements of accounting, finance, marketing, management and entrepreneurship. For example, an internship involving event planning would fit into marketing. An internship with a small business would be management and entrepreneurship. A qualifying internship doesn’t necessarily have to include all ‘business related’ activities. Most internships have some work that is routine but must be done to benefit the business or organization. Even internships that at first glance don’t seem to be business related provide opportunities to observe and interpret organizational behavior principle in action or include time management and scheduling challenges. Current jobs can sometimes be used as internships since the internship requires you to participate and observe the workplace in new ways.

There is more information about business internships in subsequent pages. I invite interested persons to peruse the pages to see if an internship is for you.
