Ming was part of the team that flew to Texas to participate in Nationals for club soccer and part of the rugby team that continues to dominate its opponents.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"291\" height=\"364\" class=\" wp-image-15578 aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/wou.edu\/westernhowl\/files\/2020\/03\/MING2-color-819x1024.jpg\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wou.edu\/westernhowl\/files\/2020\/03\/MING2-color-819x1024.jpg 819w, https:\/\/wou.edu\/westernhowl\/files\/2020\/03\/MING2-color-240x300.jpg 240w, https:\/\/wou.edu\/westernhowl\/files\/2020\/03\/MING2-color-768x960.jpg 768w, https:\/\/wou.edu\/westernhowl\/files\/2020\/03\/MING2-color-1228x1536.jpg 1228w, https:\/\/wou.edu\/westernhowl\/files\/2020\/03\/MING2-color-1638x2048.jpg 1638w, https:\/\/wou.edu\/westernhowl\/files\/2020\/03\/MING2-color-1080x1351.jpg 1080w, https:\/\/wou.edu\/westernhowl\/files\/2020\/03\/MING2-color.jpg 1704w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 291px) 100vw, 291px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ming \u201cis a force to be reckoned with,\u201d said D-Dr\u00e9 Wright, a teammate on both soccer and rugby. Though short, Ming makes up for size with her speed and aggression against any opponent, along with her undying passion to help her team succeed. Ming has been playing soccer for most her life and went from, \u201cthinking that I would never play soccer out of high school, to being a part of a new club team,\u201d said Ming about her excitement over being able to play soccer longer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Currently, Ming is majoring in Psychology with a minor in Health. She was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, where her main sport was soccer. Ming decided to go out for Women\u2019s Rugby this Winter Term and has been killing it since. Ming is also a supervisor in the Valsetz Dining Hall and a WOU Ambassador.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ming creates a positive atmosphere, both on and off the field, and is able to bring any heated player to an even tempo. She plays each second with tenacity and drive, proving every practice that she belongs on the field during game play. As a senior, graduating this term, she has shown her natural leadership skills and her ability to be a role model to underclassmen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Through injury, Ming keeps pushing and never lets anything hold her back.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cMing is an endless source of energy on the field, whether it\u2019s for soccer or rugby.
