Janelle Rae is a professional actor working in Portland and throughout the Willamette Valley. As a company member with Valley Shakespeare Company, Janelle Rae has played Celia in As You Like It (inaugural season), Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and the title role in Hamlet. At Oregon Children’s Theatre, they played Rayna in Above, Between, Below and Clothespin (and others) in The Legend of Rock, Paper, Scissors. For Oregon Contemporary Theatre, they played Kate in Good People. They have appeared in shows during seral seasons at Bag and Baggage Productions, including in featured roles in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), Aurelie the Bold, The Games Afoot and Troy USA. Onstage, she has also worked at Many Hats Collaborations, The Witch Hunt Theatre, and Third Rail Theatre. Janelle Rae received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Western Oregon University.
