Dr. Phillips received his Ph.D. from the University of Oregon in 1996, where his dissertation concerned the philosophical connections between 20th century scientific theories (quantum physics, relativity, and chaos theory) and dramatic literature. He is a professional director, with over 30 full-length professional and university level productions. At WOU, Dr. Phillips teaches Theatre History, Dramatic Literature, and Directing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sandy is the resident Costume Designer and teaches the costume design and technology curriculum at Western, including Costume Design, Costume Props, Fabric Modification, and Millinery. Sandy received her MFA in Costume Design from Florida State University. She has worked as a professional costume designer all over the United States and at several theatres in Portland. She has also worked extensively with Michael Curry Design Studios. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Kindra Steenerson earned her MFA in Performance\/Directing from Utah State University, where her training was largely informed by Stanislavsky, Adler, and Bogart\u2019s Viewpoints. Kindra\u2019s research interests are using physical theatre to heal trauma, Meisner, feminist theory and pedagogy, and how to use theatre techniques to engage in community dialogue around difficult topics.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
