The Center for Professional Pathways<\/a> (CPP) helps students become career-ready by assisting students with finding jobs while attending Western, reviewing resumes, providing mock interviews, and helping students find the careers that are the best fit for them. CPP also provides students with opportunities to go on service trips, which advance student development and benefit society.<\/p>\n

It is also a great way to meet new friends and learn about campus resources.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Leadership Certificate program combines leadership experience with learning outcomes and core competencies, and creates an experience tailored to each student\u2019s individual leadership future! Students completing the Leadership Certificate program will receive a university-recognized certificate, recognition at WOU\u2019s annual Leadership Recognition Night, and Leadership Certificate honor cords to wear at graduation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout my time in student leadership positions at WOU, I was able to step outside of my comfort zone and grow in ways I never thought I could. Before I got here, I never thought that I would be able to do anything I am today. I even helped teach a leadership class this term! Being involved in student leadership at WOU has been an incredible experience that shaped me in so many ways. It’s helped me build confidence, improve my communication skills, and learn how to work with others to make a difference on campus. The chance to connect with such a diverse group of people and contribute to the community has been so rewarding. I’ve learned a lot, grown personally, and feel prepared for whatever comes next.
