“I grew up in southeast Portland and am a graduate of Milwaukie High School. At Western Oregon University, I majored in political science with a minor in humanities. I valued WOU because of the small campus environment, approachable professors, and the variety of extracurricular activities available on campus. I was an active participant in WOU’s Model United Nations, and I credit this experience for my career path in international development.”<\/p>\n

Ethan now resides in Seattle, Wash. and consults at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. In the past, he has also served as Field Program Officer with the United States Agency for International Development\u2019s mission in Afghanistan and Peace Corps in Bulgaria.<\/p>\n
