The requirements vary from state to state<\/strong>, both in whether a license is required and what you must do to become a licensed professional.<\/p>\n Because licensure requirements can vary from state to state, if you are seeking a professional licensure as part of your career goals, it is important you understand whether or not WOU\u2019s program of study will fulfill licensure requirements in the state you ultimately wish to practice. INSTITUTIONAL ACCREDITATION<\/h3>\r\nWestern Oregon University is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities<\/strong><\/a>.\r\n\r\nAccreditation of an institution of higher education by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities indicates that it meets or exceeds criteria for the assessment of institutional quality evaluated through a peer-review process.
