Western Oregon University has been approved to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA). This means our distance education offerings, such as our online and hybrid programs and courses, align with national standards and can be taken by students living outside of Oregon.<\/p>\n
The State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) is an initiative intended to provide consumer protection for students interested in studying online at an out-of-state provider. Western Oregon University voluntarily participates in SARA as part of its commitment to support student success by providing access to high-quality, affordable higher education.
