Dr. Kevin Walczyk serves as the music department head and oversees the composition studies program where he teaches film scoring, jazz arranging, orchestration, and composition. He is recipient of both the\u00a0Pastega Award<\/a> for Excellence in Scholarship<\/strong><\/em> (2015), and the Pastega Award for Excellence in Teaching<\/strong><\/em> (1999)<\/span>. Dr. Kendra Taylor oversees all aspects of the WOU Choral Music Education program.
