{"id":4440,"date":"2016-05-15T11:14:19","date_gmt":"2016-05-15T18:14:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wou.edu\/music\/?page_id=4440"},"modified":"2023-04-28T13:14:24","modified_gmt":"2023-04-28T20:14:24","slug":"mm-recording","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wou.edu\/music\/handbook\/mm-recording\/","title":{"rendered":"Graduate Recording Guidelines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[et_pb_section admin_label=&#8221;section&#8221;]<br \/>\n\t\t\t[et_pb_row admin_label=&#8221;row&#8221;]<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t[et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243;][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Text&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h5>Graduate Recording Guidelines<\/h5>\n<p><strong>Students will produce a Master Recording that represents the work they have done during their graduate studies at WOU.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Students will identify a <span style=\"color: #993300\">Graduate Recording Committee<\/span> comprised of<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Audio Production Director<\/li>\n<li>The student\u2019s MUP instructor<\/li>\n<li>One music faculty member of the student\u2019s choice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The scope of the Master Recording \u2014 its length and complexity \u2014 is at the discretion of the <span style=\"color: #993300\">Graduate Recording Committee<\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Students submit a proposal to the <span style=\"color: #993300\">Graduate Recording Committee<\/span>\u00a0for approval as part of their advancement to candidacy. Subsequent changes to the proposal must be approved by the <span style=\"color: #993300\">Graduate Recording Committee<\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The finished Master Recording will be submitted to the <span style=\"color: #993300\">Graduate Recording Committee<\/span>\u00a030 days before expected graduation.
