This analysis, in the competitor\u2019s chosen form and most appropriate to the nature of the project, shall be a summary of what was learned and demonstrates \u201cone\u2019s art of living\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>A minimum of a written narrative must be provided that includes the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Purpose and goals of the project as stated in the intent to participate<\/li>\n<li>Each participant- why they were selected to participate, each individual role, contribution each made, and what each learned from the project<\/li>\n<li>If a complete solution has not been achieved, the degree in which the purposes and goals of the project were met.<\/li>\n<li>The successes and disappointments and the factors that led to each<\/li>\n<li>Recommendations for future endeavors in the area of the project and in similar areas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, participants are encouraged to consider providing supplemental information to accompany the written narrative.\u00a0 Acceptable forms include, but not limited to, graphics, representations of studio and performing arts, posters, audio, video or other presentation forms.<\/p>\n<p>If submitting your analysis electronically (email), video\/audio must be provided in a digital format that is easily accessible to the review committee.\u00a0 Past participants have used video sites such as Youtube, GoogleDocs and Vimeo from which to present video\/audio.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: x-large\"><strong>Evaluation<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>When evaluating the final formal analysis and selecting the finalists and winning participants(s), the committee shall use the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Originality of the project<\/li>\n<li>Innovativeness of the design and execution of the project<\/li>\n<li>Depth of the learning experience the project gave to the participants<\/li>\n<li>Impact of the project on the WOU community and\/or on external communities<\/li>\n<li>Demonstration of \u201cone\u2019s art of living\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Quality, clarity, and appropriateness of the formal analysis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The recipient of this award will be determined not on the success of the extracurricular project, but on the project\u2019s ingenuity and the student\u2019s demonstration of the deepest learning.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Formal Analysis: Summary of your undertaking, Due&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":435,"featured_media":0,"parent":833,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_seopress_robots_primary_cat":"","_seopress_titles_title":"","_seopress_titles_desc":"","_seopress_robots_index":"","_lmt_disableupdate":"","_lmt_disable":"","_et_pb_use_builder":"on","_et_pb_old_content":"<h1>Formal Analysis: Summary of your undertaking, Due April 17, 2020<\/h1>\r\nThe formal analysis shall be descriptive in nature of the project addressed by the individual or team.
