Publications and Creative Services (PCS) is responsible for overall editorial direction and planning of WOU\u2019s institutional communications and branding strategy.\u00a0PCS provides graphic design services for university offices at no charge. It is university policy that all printed material intended for public distribution be approved by PCS. Whether it\u2019s a brochure, poster, newsletter or annual report, our designers can provide a professional look for your publication. Allow two\u00a0to three\u00a0weeks to complete your project, depending on scope of the publication.<\/p>\n
Student recruitment publications, the Western Edge<\/em> magazine, fundraising, alumni relations, and the WOU website are our\u00a0primary focus. PCS\u00a0provides professional expertise in the areas of graphic design, photography, writing and editing for academic and non-academic units on campus. Priority status is given to print and electronic projects associated with student recruitment, development, alumni relations, events and the president\u2019s office.<\/p>\n <\/b><\/strong><\/span>PCS is responsible for the university\u2019s academic identity standards. The WOU wordmark is the graphic foundation for all academic and administrative units of the university. It\u2019s the most immediate and most recognizable way for our audiences to know that the publication in their hands or the website on their monitor is from WOU.
