{"id":1244,"date":"2015-12-22T17:11:51","date_gmt":"2015-12-23T01:11:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cecleadershipconference.org\/?p=1244"},"modified":"2026-03-24T20:54:21","modified_gmt":"2026-03-24T20:54:21","slug":"reportero-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wou.edu\/leadership-conference\/2015\/12\/22\/reportero-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Portland Timbers Reportero Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>2016 Portland Timbers Reportero Program<br \/>\nApplications are Now Available Online !<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.timbers.com\/es\/espanol\/reportero\">Reportero Biling\u00fce<\/a> is a community program designed to encourage bilingual youth to be proud of their heritage and language.<\/p>\n<p>Students are nominated by their teachers and then apply to have the opportunity to interview a Portland Timbers player, Portland Thorns player or a member of the coaching staff. Following the interview, the selected students are required to write a report about the experience in English and Spanish that will be posted on the Portland Timbers website and social media outlets.<\/p>\n<p>To be eligible, students are required to complete the application form, be nominated by a teacher\/counselor and attend one of the participating schools of the C\u00e9sar E.
