You are the key players who prepare students and ensure that they have a successful conference experience.<\/p>\n<p>Each high school is responsible for meeting with chaperones and students prior to the conference to review the Conference Rules and Chaperone Expectations.<\/p>\n<p>Chaperone Responsibilities:<br \/>1. Review and understand conference rules prior to the conference<br \/>2. Ensure students review and understand conference rules prior to the conference.<br \/>3. Ensure that all students are transported to and from the conference on school district<br \/>4. Reinforce that no drugs, alcohol, vaping, tobacco products, or smoking are allowed<br \/>5. Wear conference t-shirts &amp; name badges. These items must be visible at all times<br \/>6. Ensure students follow school districts dress code (i.e. no personal backpacks)<br \/>7. Address cell phone misuse immediately. Please remind students to use cell phones appropriately, and not during presentations (except for taking pictures, if permission is granted by the presenter)<br \/>8. Remain with students at all times during the conference. This includes opening and closing remarks, during sessions or in the lobby of various buildings.<br \/>9. We ask you to adhere to the guidelines listed below in order to ensure that you will be safe and benefit from the day.<\/p>\n<p>1. All students must be transported to and from the conference on school district transportation<br \/>2. No Private cars allowed<br \/>3. All students must remain on the University campus with their chaperone at all times<br \/>4. During the opening and closing sessions, schools should sit together<br \/>5. All students are required to wear their conferences t-shirts &amp; name badges. These items must be visible at all times<br \/>6. All students must adhere to school districts rules and procedures regarding appropriate behavior\/dress code (i.e. No personal backpack)<br \/>7.
