The KWOU Radio Room is available now!<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Located in the Terry House on the Western campus, the KWOU Radio Room allows you to write, produce and broadcast your own live radio show. It’s packed with professional equipment, and to top it off, music licensing and fees are on us – so you can play anything you’d like for free. Share your music taste and personality with the world, live on air!<\/p>\n

Live DJ events<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Ever wanted to be a DJ? With us, YOU CAN! Sign up to be a DJ through KWOU for events, celebrations, gatherings, etc. If you are a student, staff, or faculty, just head to our Contact Us<\/a> page to reach out and we will get you all set up!<\/p>\n

Our AV cart is portable, easy to use and free for verified events. DJ services available upon request, or do your own DJ-ing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

KWOU Mission<\/h1>\nStarting in October 2010, the Western Oregon University campus has a new web-based, commercial, educational radio station. The station is a student-managed and operated entity with mentoring from the student media adviser.\n\nThe station\u2019s mission is to strive for accurate, fair, and unbiased coverage of news, culture and sports topics on campus, and to provide the college community with quality music. The benefits of working at this station are numerous, be it the chance to gain much-needed broadcasting\/communication experience, or simply to be a part of a media service that aims to inform peers of issues that will face them.
