KWOU exists to provide Western Oregon University with a student-run online radio station and podcast studio that represents the local community through its music library, programming, and events, while providing students with real-world experience in the fields of audio production, event planning, public speaking, live performance, database management, and customer relations. At KWOU, students are responsible for any media that is produced and understand that in no way should their views and opinions represent the opinions of other parties and do not necessarily reflect those of KWOU or Western Oregon University.<\/h6>\n
