How to Apply

Financial Requirements

Students must submit an official copy of personal or parent’s/sponsor’s bank statement showing a balance of at least $45,000 and/or official award letters for any scholarships/grants.

  • The current tuition and fees at Western Oregon University are explained and estimated on the Tuition and Fees page. Please review the details for an explanation of how this estimate was made.
  • Original documents are preferred, but certified copies are acceptable. Copies must be certified as official either by the bank or an official of the United States Embassy. Students within the United States may obtain an official bank statement signed by a bank official.

Western Oregon University’s Land Acknowledgement
Western Oregon University in Monmouth, OR is located within the traditional homelands of the Luckiamute Band of Kalapuya. Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya etc. Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations in Western Oregon. Today, living descendants of these people are a part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Community of Oregon and the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians.
