Employees enrolled in a medical plan who use tobacco have a deduction to help offset the risks they bring to the group.<\/p>\n
For employees and\/or their covered spouse\/domestic partner who use tobacco there is a monetary monthly deduction. Tobacco users can stop the deduction if they\u00a0 quit using tobacco (PDF)<\/a>\u00a0mid-year.<\/p>\n
Employees to whom this applies have a monthly surcharge of $25 per person.<\/p>\n
