In the virtual session for students, President Fuller emphasized that the details of the vaccination requirement plan would be further refined through engagement with many campus stakeholders, including WOU\u2019s Reopening Committee, Faculty Senate, Staff Senate, the Associated Students of Western Oregon University (ASWOU), and the university\u2019s two unions: SEIU and the Western Oregon University Federation of Teachers (WOUFT). Because WOU is one of Oregon\u2019s most ethnically diverse university campuses, President Fuller also pledged to engage the campus\u2019s University Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee (UDIAC) for advice and suggestions as the plan is finalized. As more details will emerge with the WOU plan, Human Resources will update our employees regarding these decisions as soon as as they become available.<\/p>\n
