As a transfer student, you will find a full range of on-campus housing opportunities to choose from.

Located near the heart of campus and offered at prices at or below any other university in the stat, WOU housing provides transfer students with outstanding value, convenience and Community.

Through meeting new people, experiencing new ideas and facing new challenges, success will come academically and socially. Involvement in hall government and the Residence Hall Association offers residents the opportunity to develop leadership skills and influence on-campus living policies. Overall, statistics have shown the following to be true for residence hall students vs. their commuting counterparts:

The Halls

Traditional hall with single or double accommodations available in a live-learn or traditional community.

The Arbor Park Apartments house 4 students within a 4-bedroom (each bedroom is private) 2-bath (shared by 2 residents) apartment. Each apartment features a full kitchen and shared community living area.

New for Fall?

As a new student transferring into Western Oregon University for FALL TERM, you have the option to choose your own space through our Housing Selection Process!

If you are entering WOU for any other term,upon receipt of y our completed Housing Reservation, our staff will work closely with you regarding your placement prior to your move-in day.

How do I Apply?

 

Complete the Housing Reservation form and submit the $50 non-refundable reservation fee.  You can enclose a check with your mailed reservation form or call University Housing at 503-838-8311 to process payment via credit card.

  • We will accept your housing reservation beginning October 1 for the following academic year.
  • We Encourage you to apply early.
  • Reservation request received prior to October 1 will be dated October 1.
