We want to keep you informed of our tentative timeline for you as we move towards Move-In day. The University Housing staff are here to help you with every step along the way, if you have questions, or need assistance please feel free to reach out!

The Year Ahead – by Term
Note: The Move-In schedule is currently under revision for Fall 2022. Please check back here for updated information during the summer.
- MOVE IN DAY: September 18-19, 2022
- NEW STUDENT WEEK: September 18-25, 2022
- FEE PAYMENT: September 26-30, 2022
- CLASSES BEGIN: September 26, 2022
- HOMECOMING WEEK: October 4-7, 2022
- FINALS WEEK: December 5-9, 2022
- RESIDENCE HALLS CLOSE: 5:00 pm, December 9, 2022

Tentative Dates and Times for Winter Term 2023
- *MOVE IN DAY: January 8, 2023
- Winter Classes Start: January 9, 2023
- MLK Jr. Holiday: January 16, 2023
- LAST DAY TO PAY FEES: February 2, 2023
(Without late fee or interest charge) - FAMILY WEEK: TBD
- FINALS WEEK: March 20-24, 2023
- RESIDENCE HALLS CLOSE: 5:00 pm, March 24, 2023
* Please Note: You will be charged for the first 10 days of room and board if you do not properly check-out of your room before move-in day of the following term.
Deadlines are as follows:
- WINTER TERM: 4 pm, Wednesday, January 4, 2023

- *MOVE IN DAY: April 2, 2023 – Noon to 3:00 pm
- Winter Classes Start: April 3, 2023
- LAST DAY TO PAY FEES: April 11, 2023
(Without late fee or interest charge) - MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY: May 29, 2023
- CLASSES END: June 9, 2023
- FINALS WEEK: June 12-16, 2023
- RESIDENCE HALLS CLOSE: June 16, 2023 – 5:00 pm
- ARBOR PARK CLOSES: June 17, 2023 – 4:30 pm
- COMMENCEMENT: June 17, 2023

NOTE: The Western Oregon University campus is often closed
in December leading up to the New Year. Please check back
for closure dates for this year. - SPRING BREAK: 5:00 pm, March 24 through
