ISOLATED –
But Never Alone!
Just because you receive a diagnosis based on a positive test result for COVID-19 or have been exposed and require quarantine, does not mean that you have been forgotten!
Our team has put together a number of resources to help support you physically, emotionally and academically – while you recover.
Remember, someone is always just a phone call away!
Take care of yourself and we will work to care for you as well!
YOU HAVE BEEN PLACED IN QUARANTINE/ISOLATION HOUSING – NOW WHAT?
We are here to help!
First of all remember, being quarantined is in no way a personal judgement, it is simply a tool that we use based on CDC guidelines, to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Thank you for you for your cooperation!
As a basic framework for Isolation, you should be able to be with others after all of the following have been met. For details regarding your quarantine, see the link below.
- At least 10 days since symptoms first appeared and
- At least 24 hours with no fever without fever-reducing medication, and
- Symptoms have improved
Quarantine and Isolation Assistance
We have welcomed you to our community, and as a member of our community, we remain steadfast in our support of you as an individual within this community.
Use the links we have provided for you to provide the support you will need to move through isolation and on to success this academic year and beyond!
When accessing the Nutrislice ordering system to order your Quarantine meals, (Quarantine Meals Ordering button) you will need to open an account. IF YOU HAVE A MEAL PLAN: Make sure you request to “pay with Customer ID” (your student V#) to activate your 30% student discount.
Quarantined individuals with no meal plan should select “pay with card” to pay with a credit card.
- From there, you will need to search for a location – use “Valsetz”.
- Click on Valsetz Dining Hall to access the Quarantine Meals ordering section, make your selections and then add them to your cart.
- NOTE: Meals will be delivered to you between 8:30 and 10:00 am each day. So if you want food delivered same day, make sure that you order BEFORE 9:30 am.
You have a whole community at your fingertips!
While you are in quarantine, you cannot have visitors come visit you in your room. BUT you can and SHOULD reach out virtually to friends and family – stay in touch. Keep up on what is going on with your friends on campus as well as the news from home!
NOTE: Having said that – sometimes you just need to talk to someone – and for that, we have resources for you as well.
