PLANNING ON LIVING ON CAMPUS THIS SUMMER?
Here are some answers to frequently asked questions about Summer Housing at Western Oregon University
WHERE WILL I LIVE?
You will be living in Arbor Park. Check for Summer Session for new residents (and for current residents who did NOT petition to stay between the Academic year and Summer Session), check-in is on Sunday, June 21. 10 am – 5 pm, in the Residential Service Center (RSC).
WHEN CAN I MOVE INTO MY SUMMER APARTMENT?
New residents, please check-in at the Residential Service Center (RSC) Sunday, June 21 (for most students) between noon and 5 p.m.
Students who are currently living on campus who are not planning on checking out and leaving on June 13 (you must petition to do so), in addition to the session that you wish to attend and be housed for this summer, please also select “other” on the Summer Housing Application and note the dates during this “intercession” that you will be staying on campus. NOTE: You will be charged $24.00/day for these extra days.
Tentatively, students who have petitioned to stay between sessions should plan to move from academic rooms to summer rooms on Tuesday, June 16 between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Start at the RSC to begin the process.

WHO WILL I GO TO IF I NEED ASSISTANCE DURING THE SUMMER?
Please contact the RSC at 503-838-8363 throughout the summer.
University Housing office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to Noon, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
HOW DO I RECEIVE MAIL DURING THE SUMMER?
You will be assigned an RSC box (mailbox). Mail addressed to you will be delivered to your RSC box. Packages will be held at the RSC desk and you will need to show picture ID to collect. Your box number and combination are posted in your portal.
WHAT HAPPENS AT THE END OF THE SUMMER?
You will need to go to the RSC and schedule a check-out appointment with summer staff. You will need to be checked-out of your room by 5 p.m. on the last day of your classes.
HOW DO I CONTACT THE RSC?
The RSC is located on the southeast corner of the Valsetz Dining Hall building. Contact staff at the RSC at 503-838-8363 throughout the summer.
