Homecoming Court and Wolf Royalty are announced during halftime on Saturday, October 9.

Homecoming Court and Wolf Royalty are traditions at Western Oregon University that recognize and honor outstanding student leaders who exemplify our values.

Homecoming Court is made up of two first year students, sophomores, and juniors. These class representatives are nominated by their peers. The Court also includes six graduating, senior students who are nominated by academic departments, campus offices, and student organizations.

From these six senior class representatives, two students will be named “Wolf Royalty”. This tradition was started in 2015 to further promote WOU’s mission to be an inclusive environment for all students, including those who may not identify with gender-normative standards. Wolf Royalty will be chosen based on a popular vote and an interview with a panel of students, faculty, and staff.

To be eligible for Homecoming Court and Wolf Royalty, students must be enrolled for Fall Term 2021. This process is managed by the Student Activities Board.

Nominations and voting for Homecoming Court and Wolf Royalty happens on Presence! Nominations for Homecoming Court are accepted until Friday, October 1. Wolf Royalty Voting is open from October 4-8.
