These include:\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0UTI, pregnancy testing, STI testing, emergency contraception, joint pain, sore throat, and birth control refills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>APPOINTMENTS CANNOT BE MADE THROUGH EMAIL.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"sub_head_1\"><span style=\"color: #800000\"><strong><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 class=\"sub_head_1\"><span style=\"color: #800000\"><strong>Types of Appointments:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Students have their choice of appointment modality. Counseling appointments can be in-person or by video. Medical appointments can be in-person, by video, or by phone depending on the nature of the appointment requested.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800000\"><strong>Notifications, Cancellations and No Shows:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><em><strong>Notifications:<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students can opt-in to text notifications regarding appointments.<\/li>\n<li>Student will receive a text notification at the time appointment is made, 2 days prior, and day of the scheduled appointment. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for your scheduled appointment to fill out any necessary paperwork and be checked in.<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong><em><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong><em>Cancellations:<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students must cancel their appointment at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation fee ($50). We have students waiting on open appointments and we would like to utilize every hour we have seeing students.<\/li>\n<li>Appointments can be cancelled through the Medicat Patient Portal on the WOU Portal or by calling us at 503.838.8313. Appointments can not be cancelled through email.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><em><strong>No Shows:<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students that do not cancel their appointment ahead of time will be charged a No Show Fee of $50. To ease this process, please know what you would like to schedule an appointment for, as well as your availability\/schedule.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n<h2 class=\"sub_head_1\">Step Three:<\/h2>\r\nThe receptionist will confirm the date and time of your appointment. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for your scheduled appointment to fill out any necessary paperwork, and check in. Fees may be assessed for missed or late appointments.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n<p class=\"redFont\">Reminder: Due to a high volume of missed appointments, we would like to remind our clients that if you do not cancel your appointment, your student account will be charged a \"Missed appointment fee\". This applies for all appointment types.
