Scheduling an Appointment:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

  • Call our office at 503-838-8313.<\/li>\n
  • Drop by the center during office hours.<\/li>\n
  • Some medical appointments can now be made through the student Medicat Patient Portal. These include:\n
      \n
    • \u00a0UTI, pregnancy testing, STI testing, emergency contraception, joint pain, sore throat, and birth control refills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • APPOINTMENTS CANNOT BE MADE THROUGH EMAIL.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Types of Appointments:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n
        \n
      • Students have their choice of appointment modality. Counseling appointments can be in-person or by video. Medical appointments can be in-person, by video, or by phone depending on the nature of the appointment requested.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Notifications, Cancellations and No Shows:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

        Notifications:<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

          \n
        • Students can opt-in to text notifications regarding appointments.<\/li>\n
        • Student will receive a text notification at the time appointment is made, 2 days prior, and day of the scheduled appointment. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for your scheduled appointment to fill out any necessary paperwork and be checked in.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Cancellations:<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

            \n
          • Students must cancel their appointment at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation fee ($50). We have students waiting on open appointments and we would like to utilize every hour we have seeing students.<\/li>\n
          • Appointments can be cancelled through the Medicat Patient Portal on the WOU Portal or by calling us at 503.838.8313. Appointments can not be cancelled through email.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            No Shows:<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

            • Students that do not cancel their appointment ahead of time will be charged a No Show Fee of $50. This applies to all appointment types.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Making an Appointment<\/h1>\r\nMaking an appointment at the Student Health and Counseling Center is easy as 1, 2, 3:\r\n\r\n \r\n

              Step One:<\/h2>\r\nCall us at one of the numbers listed below, or drop by the center Monday through Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday, 9am to 5pm to speak with one of our friendly receptionists.\r\n\r\nMedical\/Counseling\/Health Promotion:<\/span> (503) 838.8313\r\n\r\n \r\n

              Step Two:<\/h2>\r\nOur knowledgeable support staff will assist you in making your appointment. To ease this process, please know what you would like to schedule an appointment for, as well as your availability\/schedule.\r\n\r\n \r\n

              Step Three:<\/h2>\r\nThe receptionist will confirm the date and time of your appointment. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for your scheduled appointment to fill out any necessary paperwork, and check in. Fees may be assessed for missed or late appointments.\r\n\r\n \r\n

              Reminder: Due to a high volume of missed appointments, we would like to remind our clients that if you do not cancel your appointment, your student account will be charged a \"Missed appointment fee\". This applies for all appointment types.
