Sexual health is an important part of our physical and emotional health. Here is a list of things that may lead to breakage:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Condom is expired. This is the leading cause of breakage.<\/li>\n<li>Condom has been stored in a car or wallet.\u00a0Instead, condoms\u00a0should be kept in a cool and dry place.<\/li>\n<li>Oil-based lubrication has been used. If you are applying extra lubrication, make sure that it is water-based.<\/li>\n<li>Lack of lubrication. Lack of lubrication causes friction while having intercourse, which can lead to breakage.<\/li>\n<li>Condoms aren&#8217;t the right size.<\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s not put on properly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[endsection]<\/p>\n<p>[section=What are dental dams and how do\u00a0I use them?]<\/p>\n<p>Dental dams are\u00a0a type of barrier method, like condoms. It is a thin, square sheet that is usually made of rubber.
