{"id":2480,"date":"2017-03-13T15:35:22","date_gmt":"2017-03-13T22:35:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wou.edu\/finaid\/?page_id=2480"},"modified":"2024-04-02T10:04:36","modified_gmt":"2024-04-02T17:04:36","slug":"irs-data-retrieval-tool-update","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wou.edu\/finaid\/irs-data-retrieval-tool-update\/","title":{"rendered":"IRS Data Retrieval Tool Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>IRS Data Retrieval Tool will be available for the 2018-19 FAFSA\u00ae<\/h3>\n<p>On August 7, 2017, the IRS and Federal Student Aid (FSA) agreed to implement a solution that will reinstate the use of the IRS DRT beginning with the 2018\u201319 FAFSA\u00ae.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>IRS Data Retrieval Tool unavailable for the 2017-18 FAFSA\u00ae<\/h3>\n<p>On March 10, 2017, the IRS and Department of Education announced the IRS Data Retrieval Tool on <a href=\"http:\/\/fafsa.gov\">fafsa.gov<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/StudentLoans.gov\">StudentLoans.gov<\/a> is currently unavailable. Students and families should plan for the tool to be offline until the start of the next FAFSA\u00ae season.
