The Language Arts Teacher Education Major is separate from the English Major. Students should have an academic advisor in the College of Education as well as a faculty advisor in the English department. The following requirements and learning objectives were established jointly by faculty in the College of Education, English department, and Communication Studies department.<\/span><\/p>\n

  3. Analyze the rhetorical power and aesthetic potential of language.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
