Each year, the Division of Health & Exercise Science holds an awards ceremony to recognize our outstanding students in Community Health and Exercise science.<\/p>\n

I will be starting my graduate program at the PSU-OHSU School of Public Health in Health Management and Policy. I am interested in pursuing my Master\u2019s degree in Epidemiology so I can learn more how to investigate and prevent causes of diseases, injuries and research about health disparities. I aspire to have a job that I love and hopefully one day be able to financially support myself and my parents.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

My future professional goal is to transition to nursing school, complete a Bachelor\u2019s of Science in Nursing and then eventually become a Family Nurse Practitioner. My dream is to integrate what I have learned in community health with a clinical practice that provides comprehensive, holistic care to under-served populations in rural communities.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
