May 14, several current and retired faculty from the Health and Exercise Science department made up two teams to compete in the 2022 Pole Pedal Paddle in Bend OR.<\/p>\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=”Story Text” module_class=”aks-mod” _builder_version=”4.14.1″ hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content” sticky_enabled=”0″]

After being canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID Pandemic the Pole, Pedal, Paddle was back this year and bigger than ever. The SELCO PPP is the largest fundraiser for the Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation. The proceeds from this event allow Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation to make program fees affordable to youth athletes in Central Oregon.<\/p>\n

Creating two teams, past and present Exercise Science and Public Health faculty and staff participated in this fun event to support young athletes.<\/p>\n
