global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;][et_pb_tab title=&#8221;POLICY&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.16&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>Accelerated Undergraduate to Master&#8217;s Pathway (AUMP)<\/h2>\n<p><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose:<\/strong><br \/><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To allow qualified WOU undergraduate students that wish to pursue a graduate program at WOU immediately after completing their undergraduate degree, the opportunity to apply graduate coursework toward the completion of their undergraduate and graduate degrees.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Criteria for acceptance and continuation in the AUMP:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fully admitted undergraduates of senior standing (135 credits earned)<\/li>\n<li>Cumulative WOU GPA of 3.2 or above<\/li>\n<li>Pursuing an undergraduate program identified as participating in an approved AUMP<\/li>\n<li>Meets any requirements set by the graduate program that are in excess of the above stated minimum requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Provisions:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>500- and 600-level courses that may count toward both the undergraduate and graduate programs will be determined through collaboration of designated faculty members in each program.<\/li>\n<li>AUMP students may take a maximum of 16 graduate credits while classified as an undergraduate.\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum grade of B (3.0) or better is required for a course to apply in the graduate level program<\/li>\n<li>Courses graded on a Pass\/No Credit or Satisfactory\/No Credit basis are not eligible for use in AUMP programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The number of graduate credits earned in the AUMP program that can be applied to a graduate program will be determined by the graduate program and academic regulation <a href=\"https:\/\/catalog.wou.edu\/content.php?catoid=6&amp;navoid=761#g-18-transfer-credits-g-18-\">G-18<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The number of graduate credits earned in the AUMP program that can be applied to an undergraduate program will be determined by the undergraduate program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Cost:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undergraduates accepted into AUMP will pay at the undergraduate rate for the approved\u00a0500\/600 level AUMP courses they take while still an undergraduate.<\/li>\n<li>Upon full admission as a graduate student, applicable graduate tuition rates apply.<\/li>\n<li>Students that receive federal financial aid to take graduate courses must complete their master&#8217;s degree prior to being awarded graduate certification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_tab][et_pb_tab title=&#8221;APPLY TO AUMP (STUDENT)&#8221;
