Academic Programs include majors, minors, and certificates at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and general education. Each year every academic program assesses student learning of at least one Program-level student Learning Outcome (PLO) and provide updates on any initiatives implemented in the past year. These initiatives may be associated with the program’s Strategic Action Plan or they may be informed by prior assessments of student learning outcomes. Program Assessment -- Every Year<\/h5>\r\nAcademic Programs\u00a0include majors, minors and certificates at the undergraduate and graduate levels; general education; co-curricular and academic support services within Academic Affairs. In addition to the Campus-wide assessment of learning outcomes at the undergraduate and graduate levels, academic programs also engage in strategic assessment.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\nEach year every academic program assesses student achievement of at least one program learning outcome. Any revisions or updates to the assessment plan are filed in June of the preceding<\/em> academic year. The report for a given academic year is due on October 31 of the next<\/em> academic year. For example, a plan filed in June 2021 will be used to guide the collection of assessment data during the 2021-22 academic year.
