Effective September 1, 2021, the Digital Media Center is no longer active.

Library & Academic Innovation are working to evaluate the services the Digital Media Center provided and identify alternative methods of support for WOU’s community. We appreciate your patience during this time.

In the interim, some services are still available including:

  • The Digital Production Studio is moving to a new space: Hamersly 201! Once the move is complete, this space will be available for reservation through ASTRA.
  • The Center for Academic Innovation is happy to answer questions about multimedia for the purposes of teaching and learning. You can contact askAI@wou.edu with your questions.
  • The Library continues to provide digitization services for course materials. You can make your request using the Digitization Request Form.
  • Multimedia equipment, including expanded options such as green screens and additional lighting and microphones, are available for checkout from the Library Circulation Desk.

If you are looking for another service that was formerly provided by the DMC, please fill out our Digital Media Services request form to let us know. All requests are subject to staffing and equipment availability, but we will do our best to try to find a solution.

These requests are also useful feedback for evaluating our service model to identify a sustainable strategy for providing digital media services long term and will help us understand what the campus needs from us in our changed environment. If you have additional questions or concerns, please contact askAI@wou.edu.
