INSIGHTS - University Housing Newsletter
Whether you are a parent, family member or friend of a current resident looking for information on just exactly what your student or friend and the community that they live and learn in is up to this current year. Or you are a parent or family member of a student who will be attending WOU (and living on campus) in the coming year(s) and are curious about what life in the residence halls might look like for your student. If it is information you are after, Insights, the University Housing newsletter, will be a good place to start.
Insights should do just that - give you some insight into the programs, information, and timelines that will work to shape your student and their experience while living on campus at Western Oregon University. As issues become available, they will be posted quarterly here. In this issue, you will find resources for both you and your student as you tackle this new chapter in life, important dates and information and hopefully learn a bit yourself along the way. Take a look - gain some Insight!
Mailings listed directly below are mailings that have gone out to our CURRENT RESIDENTS.
Re-Contracting Room Sign-Up Night
Each year we offer our current residents the opportunity to select the room or apartment and roommates of their choice for the following aceademic year. This is the Re-Contracting Process and it HAS BEGUN!
We began the process this year by mailing (to student RSC boxes), emailing (to student WOU emails) and posting to the WOU Portal the following form. To participate in the Room Sign-Up Night to select the room or apartment and roommates of their choice, students must select one of the above options to get a Room Sign-Up Form, complete and submit to the University Housing office by 5 pm, April 3, 2013.
For detailed information regarding the end of winter term and Spring Break, please see our Vacations and Breaks webpage.
