Western
Oregon University College Democrats
(WOUCD)
The Western Oregon University College Democrats
are a group of enthusiastic WOU students who believe in the message
of the Democratic Party.
Acting
as the official outreach arm of the Democratic Party on campus,
it is also our goal to educate fellow students on ways to get involved
in the political process on the local, state, national, and campus
levels. The group has been active on campus since 2003.

Western
Oregon University College Republicans
(WOUCR)
Like they’re
counterparts WOUCD, WOUCR has been active on campus throughout the
last forty-six years. The group was once called the “Young
Republicans” when it was first documented in “The Grove”
(Western’s year book).
Since those
early days of the 1960s, the group has come
to be known as the Western Oregon University College Republicans.
The last few years have seen increased activity on campus; from
attending national conferences,
to holding bi-weekly meetings in the Werner Center. |
