EI/SE Endorsement II - 45 credits
The EI/SE II is a stand alone licensure program for those without a teaching license. The 45 credit hour initial license/endorsement program includes 15 credit hour early intervention core (including practica), a nine credit hour special education core, a nine credit hour early childhood education core, and a 12 credit hour final supervised field experience (student teaching). The six credit hours of practica in the early intervention core and the 12 credit hour student teaching experience will result in practical application knowledge with infants and toddlers, preschoolers, and primary aged children. Additional graduate coursework can be taken for Standard and Continuing Licensure requirements and includes advanced course work in special education and/or early childhood education as determined with an advisor and can be part of a Master of Science in Education: Special Education program. Students having an Elementary Education Endorsement or Special Education license will complete nine credits from both of the following:
Final Supervised Field Experience EI/ECSE: 12 credits
