Scott Carter
Instructional Technologist
Scott Carter has worked as an Instructional
Technologist at Western Oregon University
since 2000, helping faculty,
staff and students improve teaching
and promote student learning through
the use of technology. In addition
to overseeing the Technology
Resource Center, Scott provides one-on-one
and group training on a
variety of topics, including Web pages,
digital
video, and many software applications.
He is also the principal administrator
for the campus online learning management system,
Moodle, assisting faculty in creating courses and helping students with technical issues.
Scott received his B.A. from the University
of
Oregon and had over five years experience in the private sector training industry before coming to WOU, both with computer training and other business-related topics.
