WOU-Talmadge Middle School Mentoring Program

Talmadge Parents

Welcome!

Parents play an important part in the WOU-Talmadge Mentoring program. Although mentors support your child at Talmadge, we depend upon involved parents to make mentoring a successful experience.

What is mentoring?

Each January, Western Oregon students are matched with Talmadge middle school students. Talmadge faculty and staff indeitnfy students who they believe would benefit from working one on one with a mature and supportive college student. Mentors focus on developing skills for academic success, emotional and social growth, and provide students with a forum for developing problem solving approaches to concerns.
