Many of my personal
beliefs and values can be traced back to stories and books. I acquired
a respect for individuals who quietly make a difference (The Scarlet
Pimpernel), who speak and question the status quo even when it is unpopular
(The Emperor's New Clothes), and who listen to their inner voice of creativity
(The Agony and the Ecstasy). I chose Education as my career field because
teachers open doors and create opportunities for their students to become
shapers of the world in which we live. It's important to me to keep learning
from the world around me, to be honest, and to never lose my sense of
humor.
